Connect Kids
During the service, kids who are 3 years old, in Kindergarten, and everyone in between are invited to Connect Kids located right next door to the Nursery. Here, kids learn how to connect, both to Jesus and to one another. They'll hear the big story of Scripture and how it points to Jesus from adult volunteers who love them and will create a safe place for them to learn. We do this by always having multiple adults present who have cleared a background check and completed a Sexual Abuse Awareness Training. If you're new, we ask that you fill out a brief form, so that we can make sure your child(ren) go home only with you!

In 1:5 Kids, they'll learn all about the basics of the Christian faith from adult volunteers who love kids and also have cleared a background check and completed a Sexual Abuse Awareness Training. We call these basics of the faith "the light," and we encourage everyone in grades 1-5 to come to the light. Just look at all the 1:5 verses that teach us about light. As with Connect Kids, if you're new, we ask that you fill out a brief form, so that we can make sure your child(ren) go home only with you!

Every summer, Bethesda welcomes kids to our Vacation Bible School, where it's all about Jesus and fun. Whether they're learning in small groups, learning in big group, playing games, making crafts, or even just eating snacks, we want every child to know the love of Jesus. We especially want to make this a blessing to everyone, so we always have our VBS during the morning and provide everything for free. That's right—free.

Whether they're learning in small groups, learning in big group, playing games, making crafts, or even just eating snacks, we want every child to know the love of Jesus. That's why we want to equip parents, as the most qualified people to disciple their kids. We provide The Biggest Story ABCs (0-3), The Big Picture Story Bible (3-6), The Biggest Story (6-10), and Kids' Catechism (3-10), as well as Family Worship all for free at our Free Resources Center by Doors A & B. No matter what stage of development your kid is at, we have something for you.
