Welcome Home
Let's answer a few of your questions, so that you can have the best experience possible.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're comfortable worshipping Jesus in. At Bethesda, you'll find people dressed in sweats, dresses, suits, and everything in between. We care much more about your heart than your clothing. Truly, come as you are.
Where are you located?
We are located in a neighborhood off Lemay Ferry Rd. Turn at Fergie's Restaurant and Gerber Collision, and drive back through the neighborhood to find our parking lot.
Where should I park?
We have visitor parking on the south side of the building, to the left when you first pull in. Come on in through Door A, where someone will greet you and where you can grab a gift cup as a "thank you" for visiting.
How long are your services?
About 65 minutes, from 9:30-10:35am, but the best part of Bethesda is the fellowship we have with one another before and after the service. Grab a coffee and snacks from our Welcome Center, and stick around if you want to get to know us more!

What is your music like?
It is a mix of contemporary and traditional. We sing contemporary songs with drums, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and keyboard, as well as traditional hymns with a piano or organ. We truly have something for everyone, whatever your preferences may be.
What translation do you use?
Good question. Usually, we read from the ESV, but any good translation could be used any given Sunday.
How frequently do you have Communion?
Every two weeks. We have gluten free bread and grape juice available in the plates that we pass, as well as unleavened bread and wine.
Can I participate in Communion?
That depends. We always recite a creed and a confession of sins together before partaking, so if you have been baptized as you see taught in Scripture, affirm the creed, and confess your sins, then yes, we definitely want you to participate!
Can I keep my kids with me in the service?
Of course! You are the expert on your children, and you know what's best for them. We sincerely do not mind any noises they may make during the service.
Do you have a nursery?
Yes! We always have two adult volunteers who have cleared a background check and completed a sexual abuse awareness training in our nursery. They will gladly watch your baby (ages 0-2) for you as you worship. If you want to stay with your kids though, don't hesitate to stay in the nursery with them. Our volunteers love when families join them. We have a livestream of the service in the nursery too, so you won't miss anything.
Do you have anything for my older kids?
Definitely! Kids ages 3-12 are dismissed partway through the service, before the sermon, to Connect Kids, conveniently located next to the nursery. There, they have a fun, relevant, and Jesus-focused time together. Older kids (7-12) eventually break off into their own small group, so that they can have age-appropriate conversations.
Is your building handicap accessible?
Yep! Our handicap entrance is Door C, located under the awning, and there is an elevator located immediately to the left through Door C, which will take you to whatever level you need. We also have designated wheelchair seating immediately as you enter the Sanctuary for your convenience, and we have an ALS system for those who are hard of hearing. Please, don't hesitate to ask for help either, because we are eager to help you!
How can I dive in at Bethesda?
Great question! Get connected by joining a Community Group and becoming a member. Contact us to make your interest known.
Are you part of a denomination?
We are honored to be affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) and the Evangelical Association of Reformed & Congregational Churches (EA), as well as the Gospel Coalition and 9Marks.
Are you on social media?
